The basic knowledge of the motor stator

The motor stator is stationary portion. Stator by the stator core, the stator windings and frame of three parts. The main effect is to produce a rotating stator magnetic field, and the main effect of the rotor is the rotating magnetic field in the magnetic field lines are cut and produce (output) current.
Common faults include stator winding open circuit, short circuit, grounding, poor contact tension spring and brush holder, extension spring blown, stator bolts loosening. Part of the stator can be found by detecting faults:
1. Insulation resistance: between the coil winding core (shaft) and the DC voltage plus a certain value, measure the insulation resistance value. Check the coil core (axis) with or without leakage or short circuit;
2. AC voltage: applying a certain value between the coil winding and core (axis) and other parts of the frequency AC voltage, persist for some time to detect AC dielectric strength. Check the coil core (axis) frequency voltage resistant dielectric strength, in order to discover whether a short circuit, breakdown or flashover;
3. Inter-turn pressure: between the beginning and end of each phase winding is applied to the provisions of the amplitude or phase, impulse voltage waveform prescribed requirements. Check the inside between each phase winding coil insulation between turns adverse whether (line to line) or each phase winding, air discharge or short circuit, but also test the winding turns ultra-poor, some de-embedding and wiring errors;
4. DC resistance: detecting the DC resistance of each phase coil, the coil diameter can be found in error, severe short break, the number of turns ultra-poor;
5. The magnetic field rotation: detecting the phase relationship of the primary and secondary coils to infer therefrom stator production rotation direction of the motor; 6. De-embedding: detecting motor coil winding in the wrong direction (in whole or in part), tap the wrong wire bonders, coil embedded in the wrong slots and other quality problems.
